Lesley Frascogna is the former creative force and owner behind Tulip, a brand that encompassed floral services, workshops and a brick + mortar shop. Lesley fell in love with flowers at a young age while working catering jobs throughout Chicago and the North Shore. In her 20s she put that love to the test as she became the proud owner of her first floral boutique, Roscoe Blooms in Chicago, IL.
A chance meeting on a dog beach led her to her now-husband, a Mississippi native and the reason Lesley made the move to Jackson. Shortly after their wedding in 2008, she started Tulip - working out of a design studio and happily taking on weddings and events. She led Tulip into the retail frontier in 2015 by moving her business into a storefront property in The Town of Livingston in Flora, MS.
With the desire to spend more time with her children in their younger years, Lesley made the decision to close her shop and event business in the summer of 2018. She now works part time as a personal florist to a family while staying at home with her two children. When she’s not creating florals, traveling, or retreat planning… she’s spending time with her other passions: her husband Marty, kids Frank (7) and Birdie (4), and dogs Fran and Lucy.
After having two kids and running a creative business, Lesley found it difficult to connect with other like-minded women in the same field. She wanted to create a community of creative business owners who understood the difficult dynamic of motherhood and business owner. Nourish was created out of love and compassion for busy, entrepreneurial mothers who are trying to find a work + life balance and connect with other industry professionals.
